Hannis Brown (b. 1981) is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of music, both in the concert hall and as accompaniment to film in order to achieve maximum psychological and narrative impact. Well versed in classical, jazz, experimental and electronic music, he has a unique musical voice of emotionally charged textural writing that subtly affects the listener and, in the case of film music, effectively moves him/her deep into the psyche of the characters.
